Together with Christian Schega from CALIMEDIA, Johannes Bayer | JOTOPIA created this illustrated animation for SONY/ATV Music Publishing Germany to stage their latest season’s greetings. The animation is based on a huge detailed illustration of Berlin’s most famous places of interest and features music by Joris this year.
LAUT LEISE DOUBLE VINYL ARTWORK
Sony/ATV Music Publishing is the leading music publisher with a catalogue of more than 3 million copyrights, ranging from songs by iconic names including The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, Carole King, Queen and The Rolling Stones to contemporary superstars such as Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Lady Gaga, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran.
Jotopia | Visual Noise was commissioned to develop the artwork for Sony/ATV’s latest christmas giveaway double vinyl LP for customers named “Laut Leise” featuring a collection of rather gentle songs (white LP) contrasting a tracklist of louder songs (red LP). The artwork which shows Kate Bush, John Lennon, Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger drawn with only one line makes use of UV-varnishings and cuttings.
Jotopia | Visual Noise developed the artwork for the latest program flyer of Mannheim’s local radio-station Bermuda Funk. The artworks are designed by different artists each time.
Mareefield just released their latest album called “The Flood“. Jotopia | Visual Noise developed the cover artwork and designed a special modular font which allows to build giant digipack puzzles if you own a few more copies of the album than just simply one … The font is inspired by traditional Peruvian weavers we met on our journey to South of America and is featured in Typodarium 2014 – The daily dose of typography released by Verlag Hermann Schmidt Mainz. Locked In has been featured in the critically acclaimed komma-magazine by Hochschule Mannheim – University of Applied Sciences. Moreover some spreads have been published in “Freistil – Best of European Commercial Illustration” and “Graphic Design 2″.
